Berger Alfons, Mercolli Ivan, Herwegh Marco, Gnos Edwin (2017) : Geological Map of the Aar Massif, Tavetsch and Gotthard Nappes. Geological Special Map 1:100'000, Explanatory Notes 129

p.35: In contrast to the Bristenstock Syenite (see below), the Curtin Monzodiorite forms a narrow band bordering the Punteglias Granite Complex to the north in the region of Val Russein–Val Punteglias. This body is described as syenite-monzonite and quartz-monzonite. The cartographic relationship just south of the Piz Lumpegna suggests that this body intrudes the Strem Granite. Until now no additional information about this body is available and therefore the new name of Curtin Monzodiorite was created to distinguish it from the units of the Punteglias Granite Complex.
