Deutsch: Saane-Decke Français: Nappe de la Sarine Italiano: Falda della Sarine English: Sarine Nappe
The Sarine Nappe is an Upper Penninic tectonic unit of the Prealps. Although strongly resembling the Dranses Nappe lithologically, it is characterized by the presence of very fine-grained, lightcolored limestones with trace fossils (Chondrites isp.) and polymict micaceous conglomerates, often containing various crystalline rocks. The age of these rocks is latest Cretaceous to earliest Paleocene.

Deutsch: Obere Stalden-Decke Français: Nappe de Stalden supérieure Italiano: Falda di Stalden superiore English: Upper Stalden Nappe
The Upper Stalden Nappe is a Middle Penninic tectonic unit of the upper Valais region, between Visp and the Simplonpass, with a similar in structural position as that of the Ruitor Nappe (between the Zone Houillère and the Siviez-Mischabel Nappe). It is composed of a polycyclic basement with numerous pre-Alpine relics, seemingly lacking a sedimentary cover.
The Baltschieder-Gletsch Submassif represents the Internal Aar Massif in Valais. It crops out in upper Valais region, south of the Rote Kuh-Gampel Shear Zone – a reactivated paleofault – and its possible continuation between Aletsch and Rhône glaciers. The autochthonous cover of the Baldschieder-Gletsch Submassif is present at its southwestern end the near Raron.
Deutsch: Subvulkanischer Körper von Gandino Français: Corps subvolcanique de Gandino Italiano: Corpo subvulcanico di Gandino English: Gandino Subvolcanic Body
The Gandino Subvolcanic Body, situated northeast of Bergamo, encompasses many sills and small magma bodies of andesitic composition intruded the Lower Orobic Imbricates and the Upper Orobic Nappe. The unit is associated with normal faults and cut earlier thrusts. Intrusion ages around 40 Ma and geochemical analyses suggest a close relationship with the earliest Adamello intrusion stages.
Deutsch: Sulzfluh-Decke Français: Nappe de la Sulzfluh Italiano: Falda della Sulzfluh English: Sulzfluh Nappe
The Middle Penninic Sulzfluh Nappe (together with the tectonically lower Falknis Nappe) discontinuously overlies thick Lower Penninic «Bündnerschiefer» and flysch of the Tomül Nappe in the Prättigau Half-Window. It consists of a series of Early Jurassic to Paleogene sediments of Briançonnais origin, with Late Jurassic sediments only represented by massive limestone (instead of breccia as in the Falknis Nappe). In a few places, crystalline basement lenses occur at the base of the Sulzfluh Nappe.
Deutsch: Tonale-Störung Français: Faille du Tonale Italiano: Faglia del Tonale English: Tonale Fault
The Tonale Fault, formed by dextral shearing under ductile and later brittle conditions, is part of the Periadriatic Fault System. It separates the Austroalpine units of the Central Alps in the north from the South Alpine units in the south.
