p.27: Several bodies of granitic gneiss have been mapped by EUGSTER (1951, “Nördlicher Granitgneis”) in the upper Val Russein. This granitic gneiss is in close relationship to the migmatitic gneiss of the Ofenhorn-Stampfhorn Gneiss Complex and is represented separately on the map sheet as the Straligenstöckli Gneiss Complex. Minor occurrences of granitic gneiss can additionally be found in the upper Maderanertal.
