p.43: The Tscharren Formation, outcropping mainly in the Etzlital and Maderanertal, is in all aspects extremely similar to the Diechtergletscher Formation (FRANKS 1968 a, b, SCHENKER 1986, OBERHÄNSLI et al.1988). The rhyolitic tuff of the volcanic sequence alternates with volcaniclastic and clastic rocks (Fig.6) and was dated at 303±4 Ma (SCHALTEGGER & CORFU 1995).
