Brèches d'aspect et de nature très variables, présentes localement entre la «Série d'Evolène» et la «Série rousse». Selon les relevés récents dans les flancs nord et ouest du Sasseneire et parmi les blocs éboulés dans le pâturage de Béplan (Marthaler et al. 2020), il s'agit essentiellement de brèches calcaro-dolomitiques grossières à matrice sombre, datant probablement du Jurassique précoce à moyen (par analogie avec la Brèche Inférieure des Préalpes). Une brèche dolomitique peut-être triasique n'a été observée qu'au Plan du Bertol (coord. 2605250 / 1108725), tandis que sur la colline de la chapelle St-Christophe à la Sage et sous Plan Tsardon affleurent des brèches polymictes à matrice claire, datant vraisemblablement du Jurassique tardif (par analogie avec la Brèche Supérieure des Préalpes).

Ersetzt durch den Begriff Tierwis-Formation. Der Ortsname Drusberg darf nicht sowohl im Formations- wie auch im Membernamen erscheinen. Es handelt sich im Wesentlichen um eine Abfolge von dünnen Kieselkalkbänken und sandig-tonigen schiefrigen Mergeln.

Blauschwarze Tonphyllite, serizitreich, lokal mit dünnen, quarzitischen Bänken, in den nördlichen Bereiche des Permokarbons der Garvera-Zone, oft unmittelbar am Kontakt zur Trias. Lokal treten hellrötlich gefärbte, schmale Dolomitlagen und -linsen (wahrscheinlich normalstratigraphische Einschaltungen) vor.

The Berisal Nappe is a Middle Penninic tectonic unit occupying the core of the large synformal Berisal Backfold. It consists of a polycyclic basement with numerous pre-Alpine relics. It is thus lithologically similar to the Upper Stalden Nappe and interpreted as the continuation of this unit to the east, in the footwall of the Rhône-Simplon Fault.

Within the Upper Penninic Malenco-Forno-Lizun Nappe, the Lizun unit is situated northwest of the Engadine Fault and is sinistrally offset from the Forno unit. It exposes rocks of oceanic origin similar to those of this latter unit (i.e. metabasalts and metagabbros of oceanic origin covered by metasedimentary rocks of Jurassic to Early Cretaceous age).

The Belledonne Massif is a Lower Helvetic External Massif of the French Alps. It is constituted of a pre-Variscan polycyclic basement (Precambrian to Early Cretaceous) intruded by Variscan granites and of a Mesozoic sedimentary cover. The Belledonne Massif is separated from the Aiguilles Rouges and Mont Blanc massifs by the axial depression of the Val Montjoie.

The Sublage Nappe is an Upper Helvetic tectonic nappe in the Western Swiss Alps. It is the highest unit of the Wildhorn Nappe Complex and forms the main body of the complex. To the southwest it overlies the Mont Gond Nappe, whereas it overlies the thin Jägerchrüz Nappe north of Sierre and the Gellihorn Nappe further northeast.
