Matériel d'origine alpine (minéraux lourds: Kissling 1974, Maurer 1983), avec toutefois aussi des éléments remaniés à partir du Crétacé et du Sidérolithique du Jura (glauconie, minéraux lours ultrastables: Jordi 1995).
Thickness
120-180 m dans le secteur du Talent (Jordi 1995), environ 100 m au sud de Bavois (Maurer 1983). 60 m dans le sondage Noréaz-1 (Berger et al. 1986).
