p.217: A historically well-known part is the thin fossil-rich sandstone (formerly called “Sables marins de Wolfersdorf ”) in the lower part of the member. The absence of this fossiliferous sandstone in the drilling Hirtzbach (10 km distant) has been mentioned in Vonderschmitt (1942), further highlighting the regional restriction of the members of the Wahlebach Fm.
