Breccias of the Adnet Formation: indicators of a Mid-Liassic tectonic event in the Northern Calcareous Alps (Salzburg/Austria). Geol. Rundschau 84, 272-286
p.273: The Scheck Member consists of one massive layer of amalgamated breccia beds. In most sections it is is only a few metres thick, but expands to 40 m at Kehlbach. It is named after the famous 'Scheck', but also comprises other varieties of breccias described in this paper. Good exposures are found at Adnet ('Scheckbruch', quarry 22 of Kieslinger 1964), Gaigau, Kehlbach and Glasenbach. Its age is late Carixian or Domerian to early Toarcian.
