Definition
Gouffon Yves (Editor) (2024) : Tectonic Map of Switzerland 1:500000, Explanatory notes. Federal Office of Topography swisstopo, Wabern

p.25: In the Eastern Jura southwest of Basel (western part of the Rhenish Jura), the Ferrette region is part of the External Folded Jura. It comprises several relatively small plateaux with the Laufen basin being the most prominent. The frontal fold belts, the Ferrette (or Bürgerwald) and Landskron anticlines are slightly overprinted monoclinal flexures rather than elements overthrust on the Upper Rhine Graben (Ustaszewski et al. 2005).
