Permian to Turonian (especially Triassic to Lower Jurassic) sediments affected by internal thrusts and flat-lying normal faults (lags). The Ortler sediments are often considered as cover of the Campo crystallines; however, the contact between the two is usually tectonic ("substitution de couverture").
