Deutsch: Subvulkanischer Körper vom Colle Gallo Français: Coprs subvolcanique du Colle Gallo Italiano: Corpo subvulcanico del Colle Gallo English: Colle Gallo Subvolcanic Body
The Colle Gallo Subvolcanic Body, situated near Albino (northeast of Bergamo), encompasses many sills and small magma bodies of andesitic composition intruded the Lower Orobic Imbricates and the Upper Orobic Nappe. The unit is associated with normal faults and cut earlier thrusts. Intrusion ages around 40 Ma and geochemical analyses suggest a close relationship with the earliest Adamello intrusion stages.

Deutsch: Oberpenninikum der Westschweiz Français: Pennique Supérieur de Suisse occidentale Italiano: Pennidico Superiore della Svizzera occidentale English: Upper Penninic of Western Switzerland
In western Switzerland, the Upper Penninic subdomain contains mainly magmatic and sedimentary rock units of oceanic origin. Some thin continental margin sedimentary series and small continental crust slices are intercalated within these units. All of these units were driven into a subduction zone under the Salassic nappes, some exposed to high-pressure metamorphic conditions, others remaining under lower pressure conditions.

Deutsch: Piz-Lizun-Einheit Français: Unité du Piz Lizun Italiano: Unità del Piz Lizun English: Piz Lizun Unit
Within the Upper Penninic Malenco-Forno-Lizun Nappe, the Lizun unit is situated northwest of the Engadine Fault and is sinistrally offset from the Forno unit. It exposes rocks of oceanic origin similar to those of this latter unit (i.e. metabasalts and metagabbros of oceanic origin covered by metasedimentary rocks of Jurassic to Early Cretaceous age).
The Ilanz Nappe is an Upper Helvetic tectonic unit extending south of the eastern part of the Tavetsch Nappe and consisting of Permian Verrucano sediments locally capped by Triassic sediments.
Deutsch: Mirutta-Schuppen Français: Écailles de Mirutta Italiano: Scaglie di Mirutta English: Mirutta Slices
The Mirutta Slices are post-nappe tectonic units (due to a late out-of-sequence thrusting) of the parautochthonous cover of the northeastern end of the Aar Massif.
