EBNATER SCHICHTEN (USM ; Rupélien und ?«Chattien») [...] Im Thurgebiet unterscheidet Habicht (1945a) eine untere Serie mit viel Kalksandstein (Serie von Kappel) und eine höhere Serie innerhalb welcher sehr mergelreiche Zonen mit solchen mit über 30% Kalksandstein (Ebnater Sandstein) wechsellagern.
