"Das pelitisch-psammitische Perm (LP) schliesst mit seinen braun verwitternden Schiefern die [Lebendun-]Serie gegen oben ab. Die oft als scisti bruni bezeichneten permischen Schiefer sind im Querschnitt von Lago di Morasco - La Frua stark angehäuft." (Etter 1984 S.40)

Metasedimenti mesozoici che formano l’involucro del cristallino antico della Falda di ricoprimento Lebendun sono denominati con il termine Mesozoico del Lebendun. Sul foglio il Mesozoico del Lebendun forma una serie di potenza fino a 1400 m tra l’Unità Sambuco, l’Unità San Giorgio e la Zona triassica del Campolungo. La serie comprende micascisti a granato e quarziti, solitamente basali, e una sequenza potente di micascisti calcariferi. p.68
